if you’re
a lover of all things vintage then you may want to
book a ticket to antwerp in april to see some truly
remarkable pieces of jewellery.
the diamond divas exhibition
will
feature items worn by some of the history’s most
iconic women and include the fascinating stories
behind when the pieces were worn.
on
display will be the rarely seen "moon of baroda",
which was lent to marilyn monroe to promote the
film gentlemen
prefer blondes. the
enormous canary yellow diamond necklace last went on
public display in 1944 and was only exhibited once
before that in 1926.

also
appearing will be a tiara worn by madonna
when
she married guy ritchie at skibo castle in
scotland. the piece was made around 1910 and
includes 765 old cut diamonds weighing 78 carats,
and two further diamonds together weighing 2.50
carats.
the exhibition is on at the province of
antwerp’s diamond museum
from
april 11 to june 8. you can book

first time ever they’ll comprise another material –
jade.
